Heat the milk. Pour the milk into a small saucepan and place over medium-low heat.
Add the spices.
Whisk in the turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, and a tiny pinch of black pepper.
Warm gently. Let the mixture heat for about 3–5 minutes, whisking occasionally. You want it hot but not boiling.
Sweeten. Stir in honey or maple syrup.
Froth. Use a milk frother, immersion blender, or whisk vigorously to create a little foam on top.
Pour into your favorite mug and sprinkle a little extra cinnamon on top if you like.
